Groundsure Strengthens Leadership Team for Growth with new Customer-Led Strategic Roles

Following the appointment of Malcolm Smith as CEO in July, further changes to the senior leadership team have been announced.

With a strengthened strategic focus on customer-led commercial growth and operational excellence, two significant promotions from the Executive Team will work alongside Malcolm and the rest of the Board: 

David Kempster is promoted to the role of Chief Customer Officer. After 3 years heading up the marketing function, David will be responsible for driving the commercial growth strategy of the business, responsible for sales, marketing and customer support, placing the customer at the heart of his mission. 

Stuart Telfer is promoted to the role of Chief Operations Officer. Stuart has been part of the bedrock of the business for nearly 20 years, responsible for data licensing, procurement, consultancy and GIS mapping operations. His new role takes on a wider operational remit across the business, focusing on driving efficiency, quality and implementing the company strategy and vision internally.
